Sex can be described as ones gender or sexual activity. In this paper I will be discussing sex as in reference to sexual activity or sexual intercourse. Sex is a word that we hear almost every day, especially in this day in age. The definition of what “sex” is changing very frequently. If I think back to when I was about seven years old I thought of sex as a physical act that only grown-ups participated in when they missed each other or wanted to make a baby. As I grew up I realized sex was so much more than just a baby making tactic and there were definitely no age requirements of the act. Oral sex, anal sex, and manual sex (hands involved) are also forms of sex. These practices may be a bit unusual to the older generation because the acts just became very popular. Sex was once something that involved love and affection but now some put it on the same level as eating. It is just very common and less special now. Sex involves a lot of pleasure but it also comes with a lot of risk. There are a lot of sexually transmitted diseases and sexually transmitted infections that are out there.
I would describe myself as being a straight woman, which means I am mostly attracted to people of opposite sex or gender. I feel like one of the biggest problems with society today is that we always want to label people and put them into some type of category. The world would be such a better place if we just let people live their lives. With all that being said, I wouldn’t classify myself as being masculine nor feminine because the picture that is painted out for what a women should look or act like I wouldn’t fit every characteristics nor would I fit all masculine characteristics. What I will say is that I am a woman
