This part of the brain known as the Temporal Lobe controls the process sensory input. So things such as visual memories, language, comprehension, and emotion association are under this part. This part of the brain is located on the left lower side. If this part of the brain is damaged it is almost impossible to fix. Some symptoms from damage can include difficult time recalling visual images which are the most common symptom. This can also cause Savant syndrome. Savant syndrome can cause you to forget or become unteachable in the subjects of art, musical abilities, calendar calculation, math, and spatial skills.
