It is said that there are seven genuine movie stars in the world, and Sean Connery is one of them. While one might dispute the actual number of people who would qualify for star status, no one would dispute the assumption that Sean Connery is one of them; Moreover, he is not solely a star, he is a super-star. Sean Connery was an extraordinary with many talents; his exciting and decorated career as James Bond and with other great films will be something to remember for centuries.
Sean Connery had a simple upbringing in his poor neighborhood. Sean Connery was born as Thomas Sean Connery on August 25, 1930, in Fountainbridge, Scotland. It probably molded Sean Connery into who he is today growing up in a poor neighborhood. Sean Connery is a rough and rugged man who takes pride in his country. Known during his youth as "Tommy," Connery grew up on the streets along with the rest of the Fountainbridge youth, playing tag or soccer. Connery had a normal life as a kid causing trouble and playing with his friends. It was most likely tough on his mother to keep track of such an active boy. Connery claims to have had a few sexual encounters with local ladies at the young age of 8. He was quite the wild child skipping school and helping his dad gamble. He turned out like he was as a kid, it molded him into who he is as a man. It seems as a young boy Sean was running and hanging with the wrong crowd; just as most kids his age tend to do.

After a lifetime in the public eye, Connery still carries on his confident, prosperous, and charming personality. From a poor schoolboy, to a young heartbreaker, to a successful actor; Sean had come a long way. It is inevitable that he is one of the most successful self-made actors film history, and one of the most famous Scottish celebrities of all time. However, he does indeed give a lot of credit to his fans, just like most other stars do. "Everything I've done has had to be accomplished in my own cycle, my own time, on my own behalf, and with my own sweat," he has declared. "But if people hadn't liked what I was doing, I'd probably be delivering milk today—and I never forget that.”

Generally, when someone is said to be the “best” at something, it is an arbitrary title given to someone by another person based purely of of their own narrow viewpoint. This it true when talking about the best actor, however, there may be a way to determine the best actor on a variety of criteria. Though some may think otherwise, Danny DeVito is a phenomenal actor, who may be considered one of the best in the industry, from his range as an actor, to the sheer number of awards he has won or been nominated for, or even his projects outside of film, he seems to have it all compared to all other actors.
Before we go any further lets divide the Bond Movies in four significant patterns. First wave of Bond movies shall belong to time period of Sean Connery. The second wave shall belong to Roger Moore. Third wave belongs to Pierce Brosnan and lastly the fourth and the recent wave belongs to Daniel Craig. I have not included Timothy Dalton’s contribution as James Bond since he can only be credited for two Bond movies which were not even as famous as the above four Bonds’. Growing up with an alcoholic father made Ronald take a different path and become the well rounded man that he was. In his high school years, Reagan excelled on both the football and basketball teams. Reagan was also an excellent swimmer, he worked as a lifeguard and according to newspaper reports, he rescued 77 people from drowning (“Life Before the”). He had lots of integrity and he had the commitment to do what is right regardless of the impact. Reagan was even the student body president which shows his early leadership qualities.
Many people might say that stars are merely a product of the Hollywood system needing to make a profit; Hollywood manufactures a product and creates the demand for it. A star's image is processed through advertisements and promotions and has little to do with what the audience wants and needs from entertainment. There is a widespread mentality that any Average Joe can become a star with enough resources backing him up. Richard Dyer points out, however, that even movies full of stars fail, and stars can and do fall out of fashion (12). A star's economic worth is not invulnerable to audiences' opinions. The audience isn't so easily controlled.
Winning a Pulitzer was not the only thing he did that made him great before presidency. Kennedy was also a WWII war hero. As a PT boat skipper he saved his men in an attack from the Japanese. One of the men who knew Kennedy, saved after his PT-109 was hit by a Japanese destroyer in the Blackett Strait, was Patrick McMahon. After McMahon passed away in 1990 his step-son was asked about the event and what McMahon said about Kennedy:
