Tracy Morgan, the actor for Saturday Night Live, admits that he has no memory of the car accident that nearly ended his life. He says that he does not remember any of it. The only thing that Morgan does remember would be waking up blind from his coma. Morgan has seen a wonderful comeback after recovering from the accident that killed his mentor and friend James McNair. After the accident, doctors told Morgan's wife that they were not sure if he would ever come out of the coma. When Morgan finally did come out of the coma, he suffered blindness for more than a week. In addition, he had sustained a traumatic brain injury and broken bones from the car accident. This is a common symptom that you find with people who have brain injury. They cannot remember the accident. In one example, a Milwaukee woman had been hit by a car and suffered a brain injury. She had no recollection of the event, but avoided the street where she had been hit simply because she was told that was where she had been hit. Could this lack of memory be a good thing? Morgan's doctor told him that he did not want to remember any of it. Morgan's recovery from all of it has beaten the odds in 2015. In the months that followed immediately after, a recovery sounded almost impossible. Nevertheless, when discussing it with Barbara Walters on her show, "10 Most Fascinating People of 2015," Morgan said that he believes he survived the accident for a reason. He has picked up right where he left off with his career, and because of that, Barbara Walters put Morgan on the show and labeled him as one of the most fascinating people.
