Over the year big businesses have taken control of the world’s economy, but success didn’t come easily. As Razor Suleman said in his article, “Success in a business happens because of successful employees, successful business managers.”(1) Something that I learned as the time pass is that when we grow we pick up things from the world; things that stay with us and make us who we are. When I was a child , I remember dreaming about having my own marketing company. A company where I, as the business manager, could take control of it and do wonderful things. My inspiration came from my parents. They are probably one of the best non degreed business manager. Being so close to them gave me the motivation to want to become a business manager.

My interest in business grew over the years. Gradually, I found out new things about how businesses ran and how different people work together and play different roles in a business. Over my high-school years I have taken several elective courses that I found interesting. I took a business course in Grade 10 where I learnt about the basic fundamentals of business. During that course, I learnt in detail about the basics and different sectors of business. Apart from school, I tried to explore how businesses worked in real life. When I had went to buy my guitar I was amazed at the store. Steve’s Music Store was a massive place where a large number of people worked, attending customers, keeping track of the equipment, maintaining storage, etc. I met and talked to the manager of the store to describe my awe at how he managed to run this huge business with so many people working together, each playing a different role. Watching TV programs like ‘Dragon’s Den’ or ‘Undercover Boss Canada’ inspired me even more. I was fascinated at how people came up with innovative ideas and how they manage all the people who are working in their business.
In conclusion, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for enabling me to express myself. I would be very thankful if I am offered an admission in your esteemed university.

The purpose of this letter is to apply for admission to the International Relations program of the [INSERT UNIVERSITY HERE] for the Fall 2011 session. I had begun my undergraduate degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005 pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree. During these times, I had taken courses focusing on various subjects. After having completed 100 credits, I gained admission to the VCU Dental School but I had decided to leave the dental school to pursue my true passion in international politics. My first encounter with politics happened in 2005 when I took part in a rally for Kuwaiti women’s right to vote in the parliamentary elections. I have always believed strongly in women's right to vote, and I even joined a national committee to advocate this worthwhile case. The results of our advocacy had been substantial and Kuwaiti women had received their right to vote in May 2005. Aside from this, I also joined various committees which have been fighting against the political money corruption during Kuwaiti parliamentary elections. Thus, these involvements have whetted my appetite to be a part of the political arena.
With our ever changing technology and the digital age, competition has become fierce. If companies do not keep up with the new technology, the business may not be profitable and could end up suffering severe hardships. It is my goal to learn each aspect, starting at the hourly employee though the Chief Executive Officer. This includes production, finance, marketing and sales. It is my hope to have a clear vision of how a corporation becomes and stays successful throughout the years. I want to understand what it takes to make a business successful in today’s world. I want to see how a corporation becomes successful from the ground up.

Often times, I can’t help but wonder what my life would be like if I haven’t been exposed to the world of business; a wonderful career that changed my life completely. I have taken interest in business career because I love calculating numbers and interacting with people; But most importantly, my fascination in business came from my grandfather. He taught me many valuable tips on how to be a successful person, and most certainly how to run a business. He was not only a successful businessman, but also a respected individual. One of the businesses that he owned was a company called “Wu Long Tea Factory”. The main thing that they produce is tea of course, but they also have products such as cakes, candies, and all kinds of stuff. By being the production manager’s assistant of this company, I was able to experience everything that was going on in the factory. Even though that was the background I grew up in, my biggest fascination wasn’t in being a manager in a factory; it was the finance part that got me all excited. Often times I can even see myself sitting in my office and work on clients’ financial profiles and statements. I also took extra math classes and participated in many of the competitions in order to prepare myself to succeed in this particular field. Other things that I also did to get me well prepared are joining school activities, applying internships, and having jobs. I believe that all my hard work will pay off, when I see myself as a successful businessman.
As we all know business is the way of the world. Business activities can range from shopping, promoting, buying, selling and discounting, and as an individual we come across these everyday. I am very interested in Business as it is an area that I wish to learn more about there are a lot of things that fascinate and keep my interest, however my greatest interest is business management.

My passion in MBA came at my early age when I used to provide for my family during the civil war in Afghanistan. I was the only son to bring food at home, where in a male dominated country it wasn 't possible for my mom to work. My father had already passed a way and It wasn 't easy for me as a child to work though. Hundreds of rockets were a good day for Kabul. I had to go on streets to sell the remaining furniture of our house. My dreams of Afghanistan full of flourishing businesses were destroying everyday. I realised that I was very good at convincing my customers, so a thought flashed in my mind to pursue business as my career. I want to apply for an MBA for a number of reasons; first I am passionate about it, second my experiences makes
