Rwanda:
The Rwanda genocide started with a civil war due to a corruptive government and the power of the elites of the country. Rwanda was undergoing many social, economic, and political pressures that the Hutu blamed on the tutsi minority. It was for this reason that the genocide commenced, the hutu elites and government deemed it necessary to murder all the tutsis as to alleviate the country of its detrimental issues.
The population of Rwanda was composed of three different ethnic groups; 85% Hutu, 14%
Tutsi and 1% Twa. As well as being blamed for economical issues of the country, the tutsi population was accused of supporting a rebel group called the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF).

The genocide was the result of a civil war and of multiple governing bodies fighting for the control of Cambodia. Pol Pot and the Khmer rouge who was in power of Cambodia created an extremist programme to reconstruct Cambodia which resulted in the genocide and the deaths of countless civilians and innocent people who had no choice but to live in terror and fear of their lives for their last days on earth. As well as Cambodian citizens, minorities such as
Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai were also targeted in the murders. The genocide commenced and ended due to government control, and the aftermath had an effect on many other Counties apart from Cambodia as well as it demonstrated many social justice issues.
The genocide was the result of a civil war (156 000 died ) , and of Pol Pot and the Khmer rouge overthrowing the monarch prince Sihanouk and coming into power of the country. The
