Do you want to create a short and simple romance movie? You can make that possible with a little resources and lots of time. There are just six simple steps that you should keep in mind in making a short romance film and these are: identify your audience, create the storyline, manage your budget, create the script, film the storyline and let your audience watch the movie.
Before everything else in creating a romance film, you should identify who your audiences would be. You should consider the audience in making the plot of the whole short film. Who are your possible audiences? The most common audiences for a short romance film are teenagers and adults. You should know the extents of your capabilities in creating films since this would determine how possible for you to create your short romance film. Knowing that it is a simple short film, you should make it brief and compressed. Then considering your audiences, what would take the interest of them with the story that you will make? A simple teaser before your climax would be an essential part to take the interest of the audiences. Brainstorm and think as if you are the audience and create a plot that would surely make your audiences urge to watch your movie. Also, prevent creating plots that are so usual instead think of a story that is different and new for them to watch for. This step would focus on how you would shoot the scenes, choose the right scenes, and what application to use in editing. You need to direct the film and make sure that the script lines are properly performed by the actors. Try to get a help of other videographers, ask for tips regarding about the suitable angles in your script lines. After shooting all of the scenes, watch all of it and try to mend all the ones that would really fit with each other. You should also use video editors that are known for great interface and features. Some examples of these are ADOBE Premiere Pro, Cyberlink PowerDirector, and Windows Movie Maker. After finishing your film, you should bring it out to the public to let your audiences watch your short film. If you’re going to let other people watch it for free, you can always upload it on some internet sites like Youtube and Vimeo. After uploading it, you can now share your short romance film to other people and just wait for their feedbacks!
