Narendra Modi has become a household name after the Lok Sabha Elections, which were enough to prove the faith the citizens of the largest democracy of the world happen to have put in this man. Narendra Modi posses a certain personal appeal which India definitely approves of in their leader after being led by an almost invisible Prime Minister for years. With almost 65% of the enfranchised citizens below 35 years of age, India was desperate for a strong leader upon whose shoulders the nation could build development and social stability. Here are four reasons why the youth thinks Narendra Modi is a people’s person and a man of non-protocol methods :

Narendra Modi’s journey began in the by-lanes of Vadnagar, a small and nondescript town in North Gujarat’s Mehsana district. His father sold tea at the tea stall he set up in the local railway station. In his early years, Narendra Modi too lent a hand to his father at the tea stall. Even though now he is the Prime Minister of world's largest democracy, he has not let his position go to his head. He comes across as a very humble human being and this is evident by the way he addresses media personnels while answering their questions.
