Totalitarianism:
Totalitarianism is a concept used by some political scientists in which the state holds total authority over the society and seeks to control all aspects of public and private life wherever possible.

• according to the 2009 human rights watch report Shia citizens in Saudi Arabia "face systemic discrimination in religions" also discriminated in education, justice, and employment
• they are banned from mosques and religious centers
• From a very young age Students are taught that Shia are not Muslims and that Shiism is a conspiracy by the Jews.
• The youth are taught that Shia are worthy of death.

Message
• I think that the main idea is to warn us about consequences of losing our freedom and our mind, no matter do we realize that or we don't. He wanted to warn us what kind of world are we creating actually without noticing it; society which rules and controls are totally, no matter is it love, work or anything else. Surely totalitarian regime was and is bad thing and Orwell was pointing on it, but it could also happen in any western democracy.
