For any person to accomplish their own future goals and ambitions they have to not lack the will and desired to succeed in life. However sometimes life can get you down and you start lacking the will to continue on and you start doubting yourself, sometimes you just need a little motivation to help out. In this video the speech influences the audience to give an infinite amount of effort in whatever they are trying to accomplish by using the rhetorical appeal Logos. Though the main focus audience in this video is more towards athletes that can relate to the pain of training for long periods of times, the speech can also help relate and motivate others in understanding what has to be done. Thomas supports his arguments through solid and rational illustrations and facts. He is very assertive in the way that he is speaking to the audience kind of like a personal trainer or coach which enhances the motivation of the speech to the audience that he is speaking too. Thomas begins with a rhetorical appeal about a story of a Guy who wants to become successful in life, so they guy goes to this guru who tells him if he wants to be successful as much as he is he will have to do it as bad as he needs to breathe for his life. He then continues with the audience and ask them if any have had asthma relating to his story with the guru because when you have an asthma attack all you have on your mind is trying to take a breath to survive.
