Assessed Component 2
Introduction
In this assignment I am going to explain the definition of responsive web design, process of graceful/gradual degradation and progressive enhancement when applied to responsive web design. I am also going to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of using a process of graceful/gradual degradation compared with the process of progressive enhancement when designing a web site.
Main Body
• Responsive Web Design
Responsive web design is a layout and styling technique that adjusts the layout and viewing skill across devices, from mobile phones to large desktop monitors.
For example, a responsive website may show a mobile device style top menu with a single column design when seen with a smart phone device, but tabs or global navigation buttons and a 2-column design when viewed with a tablet, and a 3-column design when viewed on a laptop or desktop monitor. All three electronic devices can see the same content; the server "responds" to the device with a design optimized for viewing on that specific device.
Responsive designs are gradually common due to the important increase of people using tablets and mobile phones to view websites and do some researching. There are numerous ways to realize responsive web design. One way is to animatedly find the user's platform like an iPad, iPod or an iPhone and load exact HTML and CSS for the matching device. Another way is to use media queries, which repeatedly load special CSS styles varying on the size of the browser window.
A responsive website has always a three main components; they are Flexible layouts, Media queries and Flexible media. The first component, Flexible layouts, indicates that the design of the website is developed usi...

When using the CSS, different techniques are combined to obtain maximum results. Of course, the program can be customized according to your personal needs. If you are looking for ways on how to start, here is a good sample training program for a week using the CSS:
We would visit the garden in the school and finally, watch a video with audio on plants. I will use mixed ability grouping for group activities for the students to identify plant types by the leaves and discuss among each other each type. The long time learning activities for the class will be for the student to learn how to plant, water, give nutrition to plant by planting a beans in a pot and we all watch it grow. The students Knowledge will be accessed by giving the students the option of either search the internet for more facts about plant and write a short paragraph about what they learned, or draw and label a picture of a plant and taking a quiz they discuss their answer in
Handheld displays are computing devices with a display that the user can hold in their hands. Video-see-through techniques overlay graphics onto the real environment and employ sensors, such as GPS units, Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), and accelerometers for their six degrees of freedom tracking. Currently smart-phones and Tablet PCs are the most popular types of handheld device. Smart-phones and tablets are very portable and have many capabilities. They are becoming increasingly more powerful with advances in their hardware and software capabilities. This makes them a very

In this task am going to research about changes that occurs on the design and creation of graphic images. The output media and the effects are continuously changing, they getting better, portable and safer to use. The output mediums that I will evaluate and show changes will be: printers, monitors and mobile phones.
Those who have been sitting on the fence about upgrading to HTTPS now need to hop off the fence and upgrade. As of July 2018 Chrome browser will begin warning all users of an HTTP website the website is an insecure site. This is done with the goal to move the web towards a secure HTTPS web. Web hosts are worried about the effect this could have on their websites if users are concerned about the "insecure site" warning which will pop up in a Chrome users address bar.
Universal Design for Learning, UDL, is a teaching model that guides instruction of flexible learning environments to accommodate all individual learning differences in the general education classroom. UDL creates multiple means of representation, expression, and engagement. This means that students take different avenues to create the same product or end result. Teachers allow options for the students to be flexible and choose the lesson based on the student’s individual needs. A teacher using UDL delivers the content in multiple ways.
A website is made up of many web pages. Each web page can be reached by users through at least a single uniform resource locator (URL) or in some occasions through multiple URLs. A URL is human-readable text that was designed to replace the numbers (IP addresses) that computers use to communicate with servers. URLs are the identities to the web pages of a website.

Any user that ventures unto a specific website seeks explicit information, and if that user is unable to find said information, that user is more likely to leave the site and find a site more accommodating to his/her needs. It is the function of the navigation menu to aid users in locating what material is being sought. According to Eccher (2015, p.70), usability and maintainability are two important concerns when creating the navigation menus of a website and that the menu is a key element of effective website design (Eccher, 2015, p. 70). Usability as it relates to navigation bars will be discussed below, while maintainability will be addressed not only as it applies to navigating a website, but also as it relates to keeping website current for users to able to navigate the site.
There are three main component of responsive web design which are fluid grid, fluid image, and CSS media queries (Thebeebs. 2012).

The Wireless Markup Language (WML) is used to create pages that can be delivered using WAP. WML is a language that allows the text portions of Web pages to be presented on cellular telephones and personal digital assistants (PDAs) via wireless access. WML is part of the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) that is being proposed by several vendors to standards bodies. The Wireless Application Protocol works on top of standard data link protocols, such as Global System for Mobile communication, code-division multiple access, and Time Division Multiple Access, and provides a complete set of network communication programs comparable to and supportive of the Internet set of
Kaviani et al [13] propose new user interface concept that take advantage of the input and output capability of large public display and mobile phone. They call this mode of interface as “dual display”, which allows users to execute multimedia user interfaces across both large and small display types. By shifting parts of a user interface down to a personal mobile device number of problems originating from limitations in large display real estate can be solved.
