What is the meaning of responsibility? It means taking ownership of what needs to be taken care of and also excepting blame when we cause problems. Responsibility also means to commit to tasks and then following through with them. It is very essential to know when and where our responsibilities end and begin. Responsibility is based on our own interests. It needs to go to ourselves before anyone else. . It doesn’t matter how smart we are, there is only so much that we as humans can handle. While learning to be responsible, it is important that we realize our limits. It is also important to remember that how people react to our decisions is not our responsibility. People are responsible for how they act, and how they feel about certain things. I cannot feel that because I made someone angry over my actions, I have to be responsible for what they are feeling. An example of responsibility can be as simple as doing homework. A teacher assigns an assignment, so you have to be responsible and complete it. Legal, which are responsibilities upheld by law which means it is against the law not to do these things in some cases. But there are also different types of legal responsibility. Some laws only apply in this country and others are international. Next is Moral, which is when we feel responsible for people or things because we believe it is the right thing to do, such as saying something when we witness a crime being committed. We feel that we are morally responsible because to ignore it would be wrong. Social responsibilities are responsibilities that society has towards everyone. They are not the responsibilities of individuals but ones we share together as a society.
