A waltz is a dance, a beautiful two person dance. A waltz in someone's life can be a situation there struggling with or a person they're having a difficult time with. I've gone through times where my waltz is easy and others where I felt I count quite finish it the way I wanted; in line 3-4 it says ¨but I hung on like death: such waltzing was not easy. ¨ this suggests that the boy in the poem is struggling with his father and every person involved or from an outside perspective has a contrasting attitude towards it. A recent struggle i've had was in my relationship with my ex boyfriend. We were very close;he was my best friend, but there was more to it than that. Just like in every situation there's many sides to the same story the sides of the people involved and everyone's else's input and personal opinion. In my situation, I was on the less smiled upon end. My recent ex boyfriend and I were very close. At points he was my everything, my greatest source of happiness and at others he was the downfall of that all. During the relationship, one wrong step and would ruin the flow. We went through a lot of breaks that broke the rhythm and it seemed there; near the end, the dance was over no more wrong moves to make just a low score on the judge's panel because to them they only saw the surface.
