Have you ever felt a chest pain, sudden dizziness, weakness, fatigue, etc.? If you answered “Yes” to any of this, it can be Atherosclerosis. On this paper I’m going explain in detail what does Atherosclerosis means. What are the causes, symptoms, treatments? Can we melt the fatty plaques naturally? And more different information in relation to this subject. Atherosclerosis is not an illness that you get from one day to another, actually is an illness that by age, high pressure, the type of your diet, lack of exercise, even people with diabetes would have atherosclerosis with the time. But is not something that cannot be treated, you can go to the doctor for a checkup, change of diet, increase your physical exercise, etc.

It’s caused by high blood pressure, smoking, or high cholesterol. That damage leads to the formation of plaque. When bad cholesterol, or LDL, crosses the damaged endothelium, the cholesterol enters the wall of the artery. That causes your white blood cells to stream in to digest the LDL. Over years, cholesterol and cells become plaque in the wall of the artery (WebMed). This proves me that the plaques create a hard wall inside the artery, also as the atherosclerosis progresses the wall is going to be more bigger with the time, and doesn’t just affects your heart, it also affects all your body with risk of getting more sick, the possibilities for a stroke increments and other health problems too. This are just some of the causes for this illness, there also stress, the type of diet you are in, the workflow, in case of being a student, school, exams, social life, etc. can be also factors for the illness to progress more as you get older and you don’t do a change to benefit yourself and be …show more content…

With the time and at certain size of the plaque in the artery that it became more narrowed that increase the possibility of pain or discomfort, have you ever felt pain while exercise? This is also a cause of the atherosclerosis. According to Heart Matters, “This can happen either in the chest (angina) due to lack of blood getting to the heart, or in the calves (claudication) due to lack of blood to the legs. The most dangerous outcome of atherosclerosis occurs if the plaque ruptures (breaks down). The blood flowing over the top of the plaque can clot, causing a blockage in the artery that can result in a heart attack, or it can be carried downstream causing a stroke (Bennet). This informs me that the atherosclerosis can be dangerous with time if it’s not treated how is supposed to be treated on time. How can we remove the clog from the artery?
Atherosclerosis can be treated with medicine, surgeries or by changing your lifestyle for example change of diet. Also this can be treated naturally by incrementing you physical exercise, in the type of food you eat, the amounts you eat and the ways you have to administrate your time to try not to stress too
