Where do you go after death? It's the question that's been asked for thousands of years. So many people want to know if there's an afterlife or if we just float in an oblivion once we leave this world. Death in itself is something that most people are afraid to face because let's be honest, it's a really morbid topic to talk about. No one wants to acknowledge that one day they’ll have to leave this world and all their loved ones behind. As humans we like to think that were invincible and would rather live in the moment rather than dwell on the fact that are going to die one day.

It's said that the only way into heaven is through Jesus Christ, in the book of John it even says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Christians believe that heaven is the place where they go after they die, if they live by God, and for those who refuse to change their sinner ways and are judged irredeemable will go to hell. Heaven is described as a place where sadness and death aren't experienced anymore, and where people will live the rest of their eternal lives in the Kingdom of God. Then believers think that after the second coming happens, Christ will reign in heaven for a millenniums. That’s the period of judgment and all those who embrace God will continue their eternal life and their names will be in the Book of Life. Those who don't embrace God will perish in a lake of fire which is referred to as the second death. The first death was when their human life ended. The lake of fire is then supposed to burn the earth and transform it into "New Earth" where only righteousness
