3. Research methodology The Research Methodology chapter contains a definition of the selected research methodology, description of the research methods and research design, and provides an argumentation for selection of qualitative research methodology over quantitative one. In addition to that, the Chapter describes the models used for analysis of the information, gathered via indicated research methods. 1. Selected research methodology Due to complexity and specifics of the research problem, it was decided to select qualitative research methodology over quantitative methodology. It is believed that qualitative methodology will help to achieve more advanced research outcome in comparison to qualitative one, which will be delivered by simultaneous consideration of tangible and intangible factors of influence. The selection of qualitative research methodology is driven by the requirement to analyze the research problem in a context of a bigger picture, considering not only EURAPCO internal aspects, but also taking into account Strategic interest of …show more content…

The model is developed by De Wit (2014) and adjusted by the author to make it applicable for the EURAPCO case (Figure 1). This model assumes consequent realisation of following steps: 1) Identifying, 2) Diagnosing, 3) Conceiving and 4) Realizing. The Identifying step requires the definition of the research mission (research problem, goals and objectives) and research scope (agenda setting). The Diagnosing step is intended to perform an external and internal analysis of the environment, in which the Company operates. The Conceiving part has the intention to evaluate the Analysis results and to come up with the solution for the research problem. The Realizing part focuses on implementation of given Recommendations and is expected to be implemented by EURAPCO itself. A graphical interpretation of described model is presented
