Life of Religion
Christianity is the teaching of Jesus Christ. This religion was found when Jesus got his first disciples. Christianity started out in Palestine as a fellowship, then it relocated in Greece. It then moved to Italy. It later moved to Europe and became a culture; and then came to America. Christianity is one of the largest growing religion with over 2.4 billion followers. “Christianity has many different branches and forms with accompanying variety in beliefs and practices.” - Patheos

Roman people were killing Christians because they practice a different religion to it became their official state religion over a 60-year span. Benedict wrote books that became influential. They were called the Benedictines and these books became a major reason of how Christianity spread across Western Europe. Even though Christianity is violent, I still wouldn’t trade up my religion for the world. This religion is the only religion I know and I would definitely raise my kids with this religion. ‘Islam’ means submission and everyone must submit to Allah. “Allah is viewed as the sole God—creator, sustainer, and restorer of the world. The will of Allah, to which human beings must submit, is made known through the sacred scriptures, the Qurʾān”. - Britannica. Muhammad founded Islam in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Muhammad had six children. Four girls and two boys but his two sons died leaving him with no one to take his place when he died. The Qur’an contains sacred writings that are the primary for the practice of Islam. The Hadiths are the writings of Muhammad’s earliest followers, and there are 3,000 total Hadiths. A lot of people don’t give the Hadiths authority in the practice of Islam because there was a lot of controversy over the stuff that was going to be written in them and the simple fact that there were 3,000 of them. People believed that God had the angel Gabriel carry black meteorite from heaven as a gift. The meteorite was encased in a silver cube called the Kabah because a lot of people would touch and kiss it and it started to deform the appearance of the meteorite. This is located in Mecca because Mecca was already considered a pilgrimage. Muhammad would have his revelation at the age of 40 saying “only Allah should be worshiped.” This would cause tension to build in Mecca between Muhammad’s followers, locals, Muhammad, his family, and his followers would then move to Medina because persecution
