The principles of relationship building when working with children, young people and adults is fundamentally important. The main principle is to build up a trusting relationship to help promote, encourage and maintain good effective communication with the people we work with whether they are children, young people, adults, parents or carers, peers, colleagues, family or friends. The importance and main objective of trust and effective communication is to be comfortable with each other in a mutual, respective and professional manner, whilst respecting each otherâ€TMs opinions and point of views this will encourage good effective communication from both sides. There will be at times miscommunication and misunderstandings, this will be caused by communication not being open, honest, clear and concise. By being clear and concise with communication it can will promote a more professional working practice. Good communication can be written, verbal, e-mails, telephone, feedback notes in pupilâ€TMs daily planners or workbooks. Communication such as texting from mobile phones can be misinterpreted, misread and misunderstood because it could be seen that there is no feeling behind the message and body language is unseen. When writing a document on a child for example it should clear, concise, factual, non-biased and non-judgemental. It should also be non- opinionated, legible, dated and signed as it can be used as evidence in a court of
