Recommended: Importance of the hero's journey

I have been thinking about the “Hero Journey” concept on how it applies not just in stories but everyday life. The concept shapes how we learn, think and how we treat one another and what we expect from ourselves. Throughout our lives we taken a primary step or phase in our lives such the “orphan” when we are young we are learning how the world around us operates, what is expected from us as a member of society, we have a lot of questions and learning moments. Then we progress to “wanderer” when we are actively looking for answers for ourselves throughout our lifetime.
