Theology is something that I have been blessed to experience and converse about multiple times in my life. My parents enrolled me into a Catholic elementary school where theology was common for the elder children. The first time I can recall diving into theology is the sixth grade. My priest visited the class and spoke about a complex topic in the Christian religion. He expected the class to respond and talk about the topic using arguments that are biblically based. This became my first exposure to basic, but real, theology. When arguments spawned out of these conversations, I tried to be in the mix of it all. Out of these arguments came a love for theology that I nurtured at home, school, and within myself.
A large amount of families do not talk about theology in a home environment. Luckily, my father and I have a strong love for talking about theology. Every other night, if not every night, we would mull the end times described in Revelations or the grace and mercy of The Lord. He will never know how much I truly enjoyed those discussions and how much it will help me to understand this college theology class. I loved my father because he achieved his obligation not only to simply teach me about the Bible, but plant a desire in my heart to understand the Bible as a whole and to acquire more information about theology.

He assigned all of us different highways to drive, but they all converge in the same city. I believe He assigned each of us the same task to be performed in different ways. That task is to love God above everything and then to love everyone else and bring as many to heaven as one can.
