I have chosen the five-year double-degree program in Laurier which aims to educate students in both areas of commerce and computer science. I am confident that my chosen program will help me in my future career plans and fulfill my desire to learn more knowledge. Personally, I have always dreamed to become a successful business woman who would promote local businesses to grow and expand to the international market. This is because I have been inspired by a video which talks about child poverty in the United Kingdom. It was extremely heartbreaking and in my opinion, the only method to effectively reduce and eliminate poverty would be positive economic growth and business expansion. Moreover, I am extremely interested in business because it also
Media. The main means of mass communication regarded collectively. It comes in the form of t.v., radio, newspapers, magazines etc. The media has a way of portraying a story in a way that they want it to be seen by audiences. The media is always looking for the next best story and the competition to be the first one on the scene can be intense. It makes me sad. I feel bad because they live paycheck to paycheck and they use that to pay bills, but at the end they are barely left with anything, and that is why I want to go into business.

To achieve greatness, I believe that talent and hard work, even though essential, are not abundant, one should also pursue passion oriented dreams. It took me some time to find out how to chase my dreams in the real world. When I was twenty years old, I was studying Engineering at The University of Technology. At that time, I did not know what could be my dream, but I certainly came to understand what could NOT be my dream: being an engineer or a faculty member in the Engineering field. The reason was simple. I did not want to know just how objects work, but I wanted to know how people interact with themselves. After a while, I decided to change my field of study. Considering all relevant graduate programs, I came to believe that Master of Business Administration would be a good choice for me, since it was the best social science program available in my country in terms of international orientation, quality of education, and creditability of faculty members. I ranked 104th over 80,000 participants in National Universities Entrance Exam for MBA program. Furthermore, I took the National Entrance Exam of The State University and I got first position in my field. Consequently, I chose The State University "The Mother University" to study MBA.
During the semester I have spent in Business 105, I have not only learned more about my major, which is International Business, but I have also, learned about the inner workings of the Bryan School of Business as a whole. Additionally, I have been educated on the different accomplishments and resume builders, which will catapult me ahead in the workforce, making me a unique candidate among my peers. Finally, by using the resources provided to me by the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, I will gain the knowledge of not only how to become a better student but, one day, an employee. Within the class of Business 105, we had several of the Bryan School of Business’ department heads come to and talk to our class about the different courses, internships and other opportunities offered by their different departments.

I am currently a senior with 3 quarters left before a spring graduation. After a June graduation, I plan on taking a summer quarter break. After summer break I will either continue on at MSB for my Masters in Business Administration with a Minor in Marketing or transferring the University of Minnesota for my Masters in Adult Education. In this essay, I want to reflect on my abilities that I am proud of, my weaknesses I need to improve and my strengths I have uncovered during my studies. As a second year student of the University of Salford, where I came after the Access to business and legal professions course at Blackburn College knowing I want to be a manager, I have realised that I am able to benefit not only from the new things I learned in the class, but also I have refreshed my memory on a variety of things I already been taught during my studies in Slovakia. Throughout my studies at university, I have learned more than the important things about business, economics or motivation, but also I learned how to be me, what I want to do in the future and furthermore, I am constantly developing my other skills, such as academic writing and communication skills.
