Besides that find out barrier of health promoting behavior to Ms. X about her deficit knowledge cause of her language understanding, she not understanding about difficult Bahasa Malay language and only know the simple language, this is the main cause of her did not receive proper information in previous health education and effect her not compliance of lifestyle changes and effect of chronic disease if worsening. At here, we as a nurse can plan Chinese nurse to explanation to her and involve her family to hear together about health education. After settle the barrier of health promotion, must find out interpersonal characteristics Ms. X knowledge concerning diabetes and complication as few question to ask her as example do Ms. X smoke, drink, use narcotic drug , traditional drug, exercise, regular follow up, eyes examination and how Ms. X daily life? At here, after find out the answer, easy for us to plan the health education and solution for Ms. X.
Conclusion, apply Nola J. Pender theory will help patient prevent effect of chronic disease; achieve high quality of life after patient follow all the health education. Besides that, encouragement from family, testimonial from others and positive reinforcement and regular check up will prolong patient healthy life.

Patient was a young girl, from different culture and religion, and parents had language barrier; however, while taking care of the child, I could see that family had really good interaction with each other.
