For chapter 3 it was mainly about physical activity and your experiences with many types of physical activity. Through our personal experiences we are able to see what we like in terms of sports, going to gym, working out and etc. It can also relate to amount of time and practice we put in if we play a sport. To be able to perfect our craft to best of our ability. From our social environment to our personal circumstances, our experience really matters as we grow older. To be able to understand that some people like going to the gym, some don’t, some people like to run and others not so much. As a profession in training, need to understand other peoples needs and desires when it comes to any physical activity. For one I use to have a trainer before in which I would always be asked on what I want to work on and what are the things I don’t do as much. This can be related to our self development and how we learn to like a certain activity even if before we never used to like it. It is important to understand the customers circumstances as well as their drive to work towards an attribute or a goal of theirs. Our physical activity preferences can relate to our past experience, maybe people got injured and don’t like doing a certain workout again. It is no secret that achieving in athletics and academics is challenging and demanding. Additionally, communities achieving success in the athletic field have a greater social capital. Social capital is “the norms, the social networks, and the relationships” that individuals have within one another (Bowen and Hitt). Social capital is pertinent for children growing up to be prosperous adults. These relationships help build academic success. Likewise, most schools have equal success in athletics and academics. Physical exercise is an important part of maintaining a healthy pregnancy1 and the perfect path to faster postpartum weight loss2 and recovery. It is important to do some regular physical activity during pregnancy as a part of living a healthy lifestyle. In most cases, moderate physical exercise during pregnancy is safe and can have benefits for both the woman and her baby, and would not harm either of them. It reduce chances of developing varicose veins, the likelihood of swelling of feet, ankles or hands, the chance and severity of anxiety or depression. It shortens labor and makes complications less likely during the delivery of the baby. It can make the baby more resilient during the birth process .Regular physical activity can also help to manage the healthy weight during and after pregnancy. Some women think that pregnancy is a time to sit back and put their feet up. Not so! For most women, it’s important to exercise during pregnancy. In fact, it has many health benefits both for the health of mother and the baby.

DISCUSSION: This study investigated the barriers and enablers of physical activity in various workplaces. Thematic analysis that ensued provided relevant clues into understanding workers’ plight in the workplace with regard to actively participating in physical activity. Sedentary behavior settled in with time, given the amount of hours workers spent at work daily. It was equally important to bring into light factors that influenced workers behaviors so they could inform recommendations about physical activity for workers’ morale, motivation, and keeping healthy.
Over the past decades our culture has changes dramatically. To which our nation was once a physically active nation. Yet now it seems that society discourages physical activity. The human race has been dependent on automobiles, discouraging people to walk or bike, increasing the chance of a poor life-style. Yet there are many factors that affect the achievement and maintenance of a healthy life. Young people are growing into a diverse society, which is characterized by rapid change, inactive work and leisure practices that influence unhealthy behaviors.
