Imagine a kid that doesn't know what it's like to have fun because of a illness well The make a Wish Foundation helps those kids have fun. If I had 10 million dollars to donate to a nonprofit organization, then I would give it to Make a Wish Foundation because it helps kids with illnesses by making their wishes come true, making their lives better, and by making the kids last few years or months easier by knowing that their favorite sport player or musician are praying for him/her. these are the reason why I would donate to Make a Wish Foundation. The Make a Wish helps kids with serious illnesses by making their wish come true. They grant a wish every 37 minutes. They make the family's lives better by the kid coming home after the wish and they are so happy and excited it makes the family happy to see their kid happy. Plus it seems that at least 85-90% of families are closer after the wish than before the wish. The wish itself empowers the children and families. It empowers children by knowing that they have people in their corner after the wish. It also empowers them by the kids knowing that they can be normal just like any other kid they just may not be able to do as much as a normal kid. Doctors and nurses think that the wishes can make the physical health of kids better. If they feel better than the family should feel better knowing that the last little bit of time they could have left that the kid is happy . The doctor think this because they have seen a difference in how they feel and how they act when the come back home or go back to the hospital. Also they have noticed that they are more energetic and more happy. In one case a kid got to sign with the Seattle seahawks. He got a jersey and a whole locker for his uniform. He got to practice with them and he got to get a touchdown. He got to have an experience that not a lot of people get. Even the people who have trained all their life for. In another case a kid got to meet his favorite NFL quarterback and he picked RGIII. He got to practice with the redskins then he got his first and probably last touchdown. so altogether these kids deserve these wishes to come true because of how hard they have fought and how much time the may or may not have
