Reaction Paper About Overpopulation

My Passion
I decided to write my paper on the problem of overpopulation because two main reasons, the first being that it has a huge impact on our environment, the more people there are the more pollution that is created and the more resources that need to be used. The second reason why I chose this topic is because I feel that one big way this problem could be managed is by educating women, which is something that I feel could solve many problems around the world. I think education in general about any topic would help make people see how big of an impact we all make on the environment.
The Big Picture This topic is important to environmental science because the Earth is only capable of providing for so many people, at some point if the population becomes too big there may not be enough resources to left to provide a decent standard of living, let alone the typical lifestyle of the average American. Overpopulation has a very big impact on other areas of environmental science because humans are the biggest source of pollution, the more people the more pollution that is created. With more people, there are more cars, more energy that needs to be created, more land used for housing, and more food that needs to be provided.
