Scouts life is filled with many obstacles and decisions which really bring out her traits. They are scouts innocence which is very easily understandable considering she is only 6 years old. Scout also demonstrates exceptional intelligence for her age, she can read, write, and problem solve better than most kids her age. Scout is open minded about many things in the story, she is able to see things from others point of view and often puts herself in their shoes for the situations she notices they are in. Scouts full name is Jean Louise Finch. she is 6 years old and lives in maycomb. She has a brother named jem, a dad named Atticus, A miad/family member named Calpurnia, and a best friend named dill. Scouts traits are some of the best qualities ever displayed in a book.

Scout demonstrates her intelligence throughout this story multiple ways. in the beginning of this story, Jem tells the audience where she is intellectually by saying “scout yonder’s been reading ever since she was born” (Jem 7). Most children at her age can't read or write, but scout has been taught to do these things at a very young age. This suggests that Scout has good influences in her life which encourage her to advance from where she's at. She is an intelligent young girl for her age. another part of the story where the Finch children and Dill sneak into the Radleys back yard. Scout protests to Jem about how this is a bad idea and Jem shuts her up. This moment in the book it expresses scouts intelligence on the situation around her. she's able to think of the consequences and possible situations that the children may get themselves into by following through with their idea. This opinion, however changes later on in the story after the Tom Robinson case. Scout begins to see the world from a different standpoint and begins to connect what she has been taught what she sees in her everyday life and to the miraculous events that happen to Maycomb and herself.

The traits chosen to be written about are some of the most outward and most noticed traits in the story. With these qualities and examples to back them up. One would assume Scout to be a round character. She is one of the most well displayed people in To Kill A Mockingbird. The book was an amazing read and many great characters were well described and produced in this advanced novel. The main one happening to be Jean Louise Finch.
