Healthcare is a worldwide issue but lately it has been on the minds of many Americans. The citizens of the United States are at risk of losing their health insurance due to the American Health Care Act. The American Care Act (ACA) which was passed by former president Obama protects Americans from having high insurance premiums. “The ACA, dubbed Obamacare, banned insurance companies from denying coverage outright on the basis of a pre-existing condition and also did not allow them to charge higher premiums” (Walters, 2017, pg. 2).
