Teen Parenting
Many people have their own opinions on teen parenting due to the cause of teens getting pregnant so fast these days. Although there are many cons being a teen parent there are also pros. Teen parents will need to take on tough decisions, sacrifices, and responsibilities a teen shouldn’t be taking. Teen parents will usually have a harder time financially, educationally, emotionally, and physically. Teen parents have to deal with practically everyone criticizing and doubting them; they also have to face all of the negativity towards them.
Teen moms often get judged by the people surrounding her; her parents, siblings, peers, and others. Most people will look at her as the kind of person who slept around often or planned to get pregnant. They don’t notice that it only takes one time in order to get pregnant (Teen Parenting 1). The last thing a teen would need is hearing her peers or peoples around her judge her for having a child as a teen, when it’s already hard enough to have a normal teenage life and go to school. Teen moms usually lose most of her friends during pregnancy (Taylor 1).
“New moms need encouragement and support from everyone in their lives. If you don’t have anything nice to say to new moms when they return to school, don’t say anything at all,” heap advised (Taylor 1). It’s difficult for a teen to go back to school and face all of the negative judgments from their peers for having a baby. Support is important for a new teen mom. (Taylor 1)

...ling and holding their precious baby. Dealing with all of the tough positions makes teen moms stronger, responsible and independent. Teen moms are usually grateful for the life that changed theirs.
“In the toughest situations a beautiful life can emerge, bringing with it a positive spin on life” (Pulido 1). Having to deal with the entire tough situation is definitely worth it when it comes to your own child; they bring the most joy into one’s life. “Life is what you make it and having a kid at a young age can bring more good than bad. Ultimately it’s up to the young lady to decide whether she wants to have a child or not” (Pulido 1). Before you consider settling down, it’s best to make sure you have had enough fun and accomplished all of your goals; even if you didn’t, it’s best to continue school to make you and your child’s life better in the future (Pulido 1).
