As many may know abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy. Abortion is one of the heaviest topics currently discussed in contemporary American politics. Also, it has always been a contentious issue. Even great philosophers like Plato and Aristotle weighed in on abortion, arguing its benefits and drawbacks in a democratic society. There are both pros and cons about abortion. In this quote it states,
”The pro-life movement seeks to force their moral beliefs on others - grounded in their own religion or personal philosophy. The pro-choice movement doesn 't make claims on the morality of abortion - we leave that as an individual choice for every woman faced with an unwanted pregnancy. If they feel abortion is wrong and they want to give their child up for adoption, or keep it, we will support their decision. Pro-life people say "Abortion is wrong;" we only say …show more content…

So in other words they believe it is that woman’s body and no one has the right to say what they can and cannot do with it, or it would be unjust. The supporters are pro-choice because they do not believe there is any reason why a woman should have to face all the consequences from something she did not do alone, it takes two people to conceive a baby. If a guy can get a woman pregnant and then disappear from their life, there is no reason why she should be the one responsible for everything, the woman should get the same advantage as the man. Also, in the case of rape and incest the supporters believe that it is best for a child to not be born at all than to be born hated or unwanted because they are a constant reminder of the terrible incident that has happened, by a mother who is coerced to have the child because she has no choice, and not because she wants the
