First time the police brutality was ever brought up was in the year of 1991, when an episode of Rodney king was aired. It was one of the cases most talked about on the topic of Police Brutality Mr. Rodney King was assaulted by LAPD officers and that started the African American movement on police brutality.

During past twenty-five years, the police brutality is widely discussed by the society. Numerous terrible cases were registered. However, not all police officers were punished. The sad truth is that we don’t have established regulations for these cases.

In the past African Americans have been suffering through the problem of police brutality. From 1800 -1900 white social class used police force to maintain racial terribly unfair treatment
