First, I would like to make a point to clarify our topic. It’s not about how large dogs are better than small dogs or small dogs are better than large ones. It’s about how aggressive they are towards us and other animals.
I have a large dog of my own, in fact I love having her around. But, this doesn’t make her an angel at all! We have even gone through dog obedience and training with her and she still is aggressive and a little bit “too friendly” with some people. This dog could knock you down if you are not watching out!

States for being too dangerous and aggressive. According to the CDC a large breed dog bite that needs medical attention occurs every minute in just the U.S. alone. While 800,000 people are bitten by their own dog every year. Just 44,000 of these injuries occur to a persons face in which they need medical treatment and will have to deal with these scars for the rest of their lives.
There were many pictures that were too graphic to display on here because on some pieces of the body were missing or even someones face was near to torn off. These are some of the more severe cases to a large breed attacks. These dogs can cause a lot of damage if they are given the chance. This doesn’t make smaller dogs any better than large ones. They may be aggressive from time to time but they hardly are ever on the news or blamed for life long injuries caused by the large dog bites that occur very often in the U.S. Even some of the nicest large dogs out there can turn in a second.
You would probably be able to protect yourself if you were attacked by an aggressive small dog like a Chihuahua or a Dachshund. But, lets say you were attacked by a Pit Bull or Rottweiler you would probably be a little bit more afraid of the dog then. The key factor to this is that the bigger the dog the bigger the
