Recommended: Physical therapist as a career essay

I do not wish for a career that will result in a perfect life, I desire a career with the capability to create an impact. The field of health sciences fulfills my desire due to the unceasing potential I can grasp to make a difference through empowering others. Furthermore, a career in physical therapy encompasses several opportunities for me to provide to those in need and is a vital role in healthcare. In order for me to reach my goal, I realize that I must pursue undergraduate studies at a four year university and to continue on to physical therapy school. With a major in pre-physical therapy I can strive to achieve my greatest hope of having the opportunity to fulfill my passion of perseverance towards fellow brothers and sisters. Situations of a child born with a deformity which makes walking difficult, a veteran suffering to walk with a prosthetic leg, and an athlete eager to get back on the field, share a similar need of physical therapy. The field of physical therapy inspires me because of the unlimited potential to reach out to improve life and to guide those to reach the maximum rehab potential. Humble …show more content…

Throughout my schooling I have always made the effort to go beyond the classroom by being involved with service. Moreover, by committing myself to service I learned that I have a passion for improving the way of life for others. With this I tested myself by frequently volunteering at a nursing home where I explored the gifts of health care. At the retirement home, I had the ability to make an impact by providing aid and joy to the residents. By undergoing service at the nursing home I discovered that I truly desire to strive in a health care profession.
