Media is a major factor in our everyday lives. It is the method of communication to influence or impact people widely. Media occurs through radio, television, newspapers, magazines, internet, etc. Ads and commercials are found in each of these. Their purpose is to sell or buy, persuade, and/or inform. This is accomplished by using certain techniques such as visual, language and sound, and appeal. The Disney World commercial provided by Walt Disney, tries to persuade the viewer to buy the the package offered for a trip to Disney World in Florida. The Disney World commercial is effective for families with children from the ages 4-12 who want to go on a vacation that has something for everyone. The commercial opens with an attraction at one of the theme parks in Disney World. Then it moves into one of the places you can stay. Next it shows another attraction with people on it at another park. It then shows visitors interacting with people who work there, another attraction and an employee. Next it shows something to do at one of the places you can stay, provides some information, and shows a few people interacting with one of the employees.
