Recommended: Ban of smoking in public

Statement of need: Our goal is to ban smoking in parks as a risk of health problems and wildfire. Our audience is the public in general because anyone can be affected by the environmental problems that cigarettes bring to our community.

Desired Outcome: For a bill to be passed in order for people to stop smoking in city parks for the safety of the public, especially the health of children around because it can become harmful for the children due to secondhand smoke children should not be in contact with smoke.

Activity Descriptions We will start off by asking for donations from businesses or groups in order to obtain a special event permit for 50-100 people. If approved by the City or Board of Police Commissioners we will hold the event
