Most of us go to college because we want to have a good future. We want to have a secure job when we get older, so we can have a happy live. There are a lot of sacrifices we may have to make to be able to graduate a four-year college to get degree. we may have to sacrifice socialization and laziness. There are a lot of people who would make these sacrifices, but they do not have the resources, such as money and car for college, even if they do have car they cannot afford college tuitions. The college tuition is the biggest reason most people cannot go to college.

Addition to the cost of textbooks and tuition, students still must pay for housing and for commute. Most student must take a part time jobs while being a full-time student to pay for their housing, textbooks, etc. They have very little studying time. For example, I personally am work part time and I am also a full-time student. I do not have a lot of time to study because I have to work to pay for my commute, housing, textbooks and the net price. Tuition alone is not the cost student must pay, but also for housing and other stuff. According to pbs.org website, A sophomore, Samantha Yazzie has to borrow $20,000, not for tuition, solely for housing during her freshman year alone. “I worry about paying it back,” said Yazzie.

To use an analogy, YOU consider whether a person should seek treatment for a disease. Even if the person cannot afford treatment a person should still seek treatment for the disease. In the same way, people who cannot afford college might be the ones who should be going to college. With that being said, the cost of college is something that people should consider when deciding whether or not they should go to college. In general, it could be argued that people should go to college if doing so would be beneficial to them. As noted earlier, it could still be countered that even if something is beneficial, it does not mean that people should do it. However, it seems reasonable to lay aside this somewhat abstract problem and focus on practical matters. It seems reasonable to hold that people should make the decision about whether to go to college or not based on the benefits rather, the cost of school. A huge question or main point for going to college would be if you would get a better paying job by attending a institution. In general, a college degree results in better pay than a highschool degree. One major problem with going to college is not being able to obtain a bachelor's degree and inevitably staying in college one or two more extra years that cannot be avoided, thus, putting oneself or his family into more debt than if he were to obtain a bachelor's degree in four

Once a person graduates from high school they are left with a difficult decision, wither to go to college or not. For the past decade, The United States has stressed the importance of college education, to those seeking employment, and better careers. For most people, college is the logical next step in education, as it provides a working knowledge of a desired field and opens the door to many opportunities, but college has become increasingly more expensive as time goes on. Many people feel that college is no longer an option financially. Even with financial aid and scholarships, the cost of a college education can still be very taxing. This is due to massive price increase across the boards, but the main issue on most people’s minds is the debt that will be acquired from higher education.

Most high school seniors are pressured by their guidance counselors and parents to go to college because it is "the right thing to do." Mother wanted them to go, or some other reason entirely irrelevant to the course of studies for which college is supposedly organized." (481) The student may have different ideas about what he or she wants to do in life, but because they think that these "mentors" know what is best for them, they probably end up doing something they do not want to do, resulting in being miserable and resentful.

One of the most important thing in our life is education, because it is needed for the rest of their lives. Education has become a mental stress for students who have to pay for tuition out of their pockets because tuition fees are increasing every year in a way that some people aren’t able to afford. There are so many students who would extremely grateful to attend any four year institution but can’t because of the lack of funds. College life can be very stressful, and the process can is very frustrating to most students the first two years. When the cost of college tuition is compared to the 21 century financial economy the cost does not make sense, because for a middle-class family it is impossible to afford sending their child to any four-year institution. It hard for students to graduate with the stress to pay-off hundreds and thousands of dollars in loans. Going to college is stressful enough without the need to worry about how we’re going to pay for it and what other costs will continue to rise with getting a degree afterwards. With the current increase of unemployment rate and the thought of going to college seems like a farfetched goal. Many people choice not to attend a four year institution, because they did receive a scholarship or enough government funding. Having a college background is very important for professional growth, it will eventually limit career opportunities. My stand point is, you may not leave college doing the same thing you began with but the life experience is endless. College experience not only gives knowledge that builds you into a better person by giving a broader erosion. With the cost of tuition increasing will hurt our generation, by causing physical and mental stress but in the end it will all pay off. Not all colleges are for the blame; some of the blame is our economy and other factors play a big roll. As students we need to be aware of all our resources offered, such as Pell Grants, and government scholarships. For example, the some states will pay for a student’s college if they graduate high school with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. There are many states that are willing to pay for all or some of college tuition only if students are willing to use
Today everyone thinks in order to succeed financially in life they need to have a college education, or at least most of the time this is true. I personally think that despite the many difficulties that a person is faced with they can overcome their troubles somehow, even though sometimes they can not help but think otherwise. I, myself have three different reasons why people find it difficult to stay in college. For one sometimes they still have to keep on working while going to school. Two, they have children. Lastly, there's just not enough time for anything in their life, like they can't mentally or physically handle school and their lifestyle.

Teachers, parents, and peer encourage us to go to college, if we would like are dreams to come true. Although, it’s shown that students who go to college are able to earn more money than an employ with a high school diploma. What people don’t know is that college requires planning and having a goal set in mind, and we may not have those things plan out and fall short a the finishing line. Despite all the benefit college previse, many college student have trouble pursuit of their goals due to academics problems, working while attending class, and financial problem.
Individuals in my generation that decide to go away for college may graduate with a degree, but they also graduate with debt and have a hard time finding work in their area of study. College graduates are young, and many may not have much experience in their field. It is a bittersweet option to go to college and further your education, I am all for it, but I am not for getting yourself in tons of debt, that will cause you to live your whole life paying off student loans and such. Which is one of the reasons why I chose to stay at home and go to community college, I’m saving money while still getting a great education. In earlier generations, people may not have felt that college was important because they needed a job to support themselves and their families.
