Coast guard and firefighting plan People after high school should have a plan, well at least an idea. That idea will depend on the person and the person’s idea of what they want to do for themselves after high school. I am sure that no one’s parents will say to their kid,” stay home and not go to work”. Let’s say a person wants to go to the Coast Guard, well that is very vague and there are many things the Coast Guard offers. Let’s say they wanted to go to the Coast Guard but didn’t know how. Here’s how to get started. The Coast Guard has recruiters here in Idaho and these people will send people to boot camp for training. Now there is paper work to be done at the recruiting center and people might want a family member there to help fill out paper work. After that a person will be given a list of things to pack so when people are at boot camp people have what people need, and a list of things that people can and can’t bring. Then, people are given bus tickets or a plane ticket to the boot camp center located in Sexton Hall in Cape May, NJ. Now when people step foot off the bus on to the campus the training begins. After getting off the bus people will be assigned clothes and other papers will be filled out for people’s classes, yes classes. They teach people some aspects of what people might be doing. Being with the Coast Guard will give people the experience to do what that person wants. Then firefighting is a way to show people and communities that a firefighter will help when called. People will find greatness in helping those who feel like they have lost everything by and giving them hope. People will find a strength to help the country succeed and be part of something great as well and feel like one person will make a difference in someone’s life or even in a firefighter’s own
