Abortion is when a woman purposely terminates her pregnancy, normally before the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. Abortion is a disgusting solution to a mistake irresponsible people make. Abortion is widely commercialized as an easy get-away from an unwanted pregnancy, but abortion is something you will have to live with on your conscience your whole entire life. Society will judge you and protest against you. Abortion is wrong in many viewpoints such as, religiously, legally, and medically.
The bible strictly states: “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.”(Psalm 127:3). This means that all children are a gift from the Lord. All children deserve to be unconditionally loved. Women receive abortions because they believe that their child will not have a high quality life, but life itself is a gift that should not be taken away from anything. Steve Hall, an anti-abortionist, once stated, “But the quality-of-life argument for opposing abortion misses the larger point: All life is God-given, and we should protect it to the extent we can, no matter how much a person proves to contribute to society. …show more content…

Health issues are a big risk also. Suction abortions can cause damage, such as puncturing and stabbing, to the mother’s uterus when being performed (Kott). Much blood is lost during an abortion which could also lead to death. When getting an abortion, the dead baby still has to be removed from the mother’s body. This causes around the same amount of pain as a delivery of a normal delivery, except one comes out dead and one comes out alive. Past abortions also put your future children in danger. Written in an article about medical abortions, A. Kott stated, “Vaginal bleeding is a sign of a high-risk pregnancy and has been associated with past surgical abortions” (Kott).
