Recommended: Ban plastic water bottles

BAN PLASTIC BOTTLED WATER

Did you know that, according to Peppard, “bottled water samples can contain phthalates, mold, microbes, benzene, trihalomethanes, even arsenic” (mindbodygreen.com). This is an important problem because if you give this water to people that survived a hurricane they’re already suffering so now you could give them a deadly disease or poison them. Plastic water bottles should be banned in Waunakee.

My first point is, according to Christiana Peppard “The plastic in the water bottles can have chemicals that can seep out if left in heat or left out for too long” (mindbodygreen.com).The chemicals in the plastic of the water bottles could be deadly or harmful to humans. This is a problem because little kids or or elders could be drinking this water and their immune systems aren’t the greatest so then they could get sick or possibly die.

Here is the second reason we should ban plastic water bottles in Waunakee According to my 6th grade teacher, In Waunakee we already have clean drinking water so we don’t need to buy water that could be purified tap water for $1 when you could get it for free right in your kitchen. This just goes to show that we can blame humans for everything we are polluting the earth just so that we can get stuff conveniently, these plastic bottles are a convenient way to drink water but the world is corrupted with money and trying to get power so it’s a dollar for some water you could get for free and if your water isn’t clean then you can just buy a water
