Students with Guns Could you imagine sitting in class, when suddenly turning to the person next to you and seeing the black edge of his handgun, that is not well hidden? Gun regulation has been a big issue in the past year, State legislature created new laws which would be enforced in August 2016 in all public campuses. This law allow students in universities and colleges in Texas to legalise concealed carry on campuses. This issue affects all students that attend colleges and universities because students have different opinions towards this approach of this law. There are several reasons why we shouldn’t allow students to carry guns on campus. Perhaps students would feel intimidated by guns, and how would we know what are student’s intentions …show more content…

State legislatures and colleges should think more about the negative troubles that guns could bring to those gun free zone communities. It would be much easier for someone who wants to start a shooting on campus to do so. Due to the fact that police wouldn’t be able to identify whether a student is carrying a gun when entering the campus, as mention before, how would we anticipate students intention for carrying a gun. What if a student enters a campus with a gun and decides to start a shooting, in this case, it would be much easier for a student to bring a gun. Like we had seen in several action movies where the attacker threatens the other person that has a gun to leave their weapon on the floor. Attackers would easily take away their gun to use them against them or others students. In that situation police would not be able to know who was responsible for the shooting since the weapon that was taken away by the attacker would have both fingerprints on the gun. To the addiction of this scenario, not all classrooms would have a person that has a gun in case of a shooting, so why not just ban all guns from
