Imagine that you and your family driving home one night. It’s just like any other night until something happens that will change your life forever. All of a sudden, your car is hit by another car, a drunk driver. The next thing you know, your family is dead and the drunk driver is usually left unharmed. Drunk driving happens way more than it should, and it takes the lives of many innocent people. Not only is the drunk driver at risk, but everyone around them is also at risk. Drunk driving happens all of the time even though it shouldn’t. In the driver handbook it states, “If your blood or breath alcohol concentration level is .08, the point of presumed intoxication in Utah, you are six times more likely to have a crash than if you are sober.” Many …show more content…

They were driving home, and a drunk driver got on the freeway from the exit ramp. He was going the wrong way, and they got into a head on collision. The fiance died in the accident. The second story was of a family that was driving home the night before Christmas Eve. They were going through a green light, but the drunk driver ran the red light on his side. He crashed into the car and killed the son, daughter, and wife. The third story was about a teenage boy. He was in the car with his friends, and they were stopped at a stop light.
