Have you ever gotten injured while playing a competitive sport? According to Stanford Children’s Health, there are more than 3.5 million sport injuries a year. Playing competitive sports has been debated about a lot lately. Some argue that competitive sports increase drug use, increases injuries, and causes stress. Others argue that competitive sports aren't dangerous and keep kids active. Overall, competitive sports are dangerous and unsafe because you can get an injury while playing and it can be life threatening.

Competitive sports are dangerous and unsafe because it increases injuries which can lead to dangerous health problems. Competitive sports also causes stress from all the pressure and strain that you're put through. Lastly competitive sports increases drug and steroids use because in competitive sports, you're pressured into having to be the best mentally and physically in the sport.
