Now days our lives are dictated by political correctness. People on there jobs, at school, or streets, Sometimes even in their own home. We have to be concerned with everything we do or say. Because it could be misjudged by someone as being offensive or discriminatory. Political correctness has gone way too far in the minds of some people. Almost any word or action we do can be taken the wrong way or offend someone. Now days is hard to come to the conclusion on who is politically correct. People even fight for their beliefs, But who has the correct idea? Boxing has existed for a while now but it has always been a controversial sport. People believe that boxing should be banned. Because they say that it's not politically correct, why is that? Well they say that boxing is barbaric and it encourages violence. Also the boxers get head trauma and are physical hurt. They also say that is not better than an organized physical assault, which would be illegal in any other way. But what they don't see is that boxing give boxers physical fitness and discipline. It also provides a way for young people to remove themselves from doing drugs as well …show more content…

But how exactly does it teach discipline well I have an experience that one of my closest friend had. Well let's just call my friend John. So John was introduced to drugs at a young age. So he get addicted to it and gets caught by the school. He gets kick out of school so his mom decided to send him away to his uncle so he has no way to get it. His uncle had a friend that is a trainer for boxing and he starts to train. At first it was hard for him to not think about the drugs but after a week he felt way better he would spend for most part of his day at the gym training and for a whole month he was drug free and did not think of going back to it. Basicly boxing became his addiction he always wanted to be
