Personal Statement On Becoming A Vet Assistant

When I was a freshman in High school, my relatives asked me what I wanted to do when I grew up, I didn't know, I had no clue what I was going to be. Now in 12th grade I'm sure what I want to do. When I graduate I plan on going on to college and becoming a Vet assistant. I love animals, and grew up on a farm. I’ve always had animals around me, either just cats around the barn, or my late horse that was named Shadow that I loved. So becoming a vet would be a great idea for me. There was at least Michigan State University, a big place to go where it is very expensive. There are other smaller places like North Eastern Michigan, or Olivet. ACC even could be a great place to start off at. Short term goals are just goals that I want to complete, but aren't on my main list of activities to complete. I am really into taking pictures with my professional camera. This is a hobby that started a few years ago, but never started until last year or so. That is because I didn’t have a camera. These goals won’t be complete for another four to five years. Becoming a Vet assistant is my biggest long term goal. I have been thinking about becoming a vet assistant or even a full blown large animal vet for about two years now. Along with that I would love to stay in school, go to college and earn as much knowledge as I can. With becoming a vet, I would love to buy an apartment for either my significant other or one of my friends. That way when I’m going to school, I can also save money for a house that I would buy. My goal is to make as much money as I can and spend it on myself and my family. Family is very important to me, so I would keep in mind that I have a loving family behind me and because they helped me and they still would keep helping me, I would repay
