When I was 5 I got a puppy and his name is shadow Shadow is the best dog in the world. Shadow is a Cocker Spaniel mixed with Cavalier King charles I think Shadow is the cutest dog ever. On August 8th we got Shadow in Morehead Shadow was the only male dog he was also the smallest and the only black one the rest were females and they were brown. I named my dog Shadow Because he is black and tan. When it was night time Shadow would whine and cry all night because he was scared. When I got Shadow my family thought he was going to be smart, but Shadow runs away one time he ran away and jump on a lady who was scared of dogs i thought that was funny. When I take Shadow to a dog park all he does is walk around by himself and jump on people and on the
One characteristic of a good dog is loyalty. Loyalty is obviously a good characteristic to have in a dog because you want your dog to protect you and be by your side. Pit Bulls are very loyal and faithful dogs. For instance I have a 14-week-old Pit Bull that I am raising now and unlike most puppies that will just run away from you when you walk out side, my dog will walk right next to me even without a leash. He also gets defensive and barks when some one comes to my house or knocks on the door. He barks at the window when people walk by my apartment. He is very protective. Whenever I go to sleep he comes and sleeps right next to me. When he was little and could not jump on the bed he would sit and cry until I brought him up on the bed. Wherever I am sitting in my house he will come sit next to me or lay down by me. Even when I am in the shower he sits outside the shower and waits for me.
Taking care of a dog for me is not going to be easy. Anyway i chose the white dog with the black spot around it’s eye, the golden retriever, and the one with the broken leg with white soft fur that feels like a soft pillow. But no one seems to want this small dog. Poor dog poor poor dog. I think i know which one i want and she is the one with white soft fur with the broken leg that has been here for almost a year. She is a small dog most likely a chiwawa. Now it’s time to call my mom
Hello my name is Brennen and I will talk about a so cute dog, the Morkie!
There are many documented cases of animal intelligence and compassion but are they true? Animals have shown amazing signs of intelligence and some elephants have shown great signs of consciousness in their habitat. They have also shown human like signs of compassion towards their species and other species. In the short stories “What Your Pet Is Thinking” “In The Shadow Of Man” also in a couple Ted Talks “Why Elephants Never Forget” “The Gentle Genius Of Bonobos” and “ How Smart are Animals” documentary they give strong evidence of animal intelligence and compassion and somewhat conscious of the world outside of their home.
In part 1, I wrote the phrase “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog,” with my dominant(left) hand. My writing was small, neat, and concise with a slight slant to the left due to my left-handedness. In part 2, I wrote the same phrase but with my eyes closed. The writing was small and concise as before but the overall sentence itself was not straight due to my hand drifting from the page. This happened due to me being unable to see where to begin writing my letters. In part 3, I wrote the phrase again but this time with my non-dominant hand. Each letter was sloppy and inconsistent. The size of each letter was not the same. In part 4, I wrote the phrase with my non-dominant hand and with my eyes closed. The sentences were very sloppy and all over the place. The word sizes were not the same and the sentence began running into each other due to me not being able to see where I need to place the pencil to start a new word. Sometimes the letters would overlap as well.
Over the course of the past eight years I have been the owner of a dog named Tazz. She is an old Boxer dog who has been with us through thick and thin. It
The domestic dog, Canis familiaris, is a quadrupedal mammal which is a member of the Canidae family. Dogs are said to be the first animal species to be domesticated, which is estimated to have taken place at the end of the last ice age around 15,000 years ago (CLUTTON *3). Dogs are derived from the domestication of the gray wolf, and nowadays there are hundreds of different breeds of domestic dog (AZ). In terms of distribution, although the wild gray wolf population is found in the northern hemisphere, domestic dogs are spread worldwide, living with humans in a variety of environments. In such environments, dogs can live for over twelve years, with some even living for up to 20 years (EOL).
Our eldest dog, Marvel, was still out, my mom went to put her in her kennel when JT, her ex husband, said to let her stay out. He assured her we wouldn’t be gone for too long and grandma would be in the other room resting so she would be fine. My mom hesitated, she reluctantly agreed, but the last words she ever said to Marvel still haunts me, “I’m trusting you”. It was a fun night, we went to dinner then we went to the mall for a little bit. On the car way home as I drifted off to sleep I thought about the fun night we had.
I invested in a rescue Rottweiler. Harley was the sweetest, loving dog that I have ever owned. He was really scary looking, but never growled at anyone other than my x husband. Rottweilers are dogs that mirror their owner’s emotions. The only time I felt that scared was when my X was around. It was amazing. Suddenly I slept through the night. Harley chased my X back to his car on one occasion. That was the last time that he came to my house. I only got my Harley for a little over a year. He was an old dog that lived kind of a rough life. He passed away from bone cancer. I now have a five year old Rottie named Soder (the name means Keeper from
After that my mother let my dog out. He stares at me with his big and brown
My dog always seems to find herself in some sort of trouble. So when I saw her sniffing in the direction of a baby bird, I knew exactly what was going to happen next. Let's just say, I hope that it had a good time out of its nest while it lasted. It was summertime, birds were chirping too loudly and the sun was beating down on everything that it could. For a little girl in second grade, it was the perfect time to go outside, maybe go to a friends house and play.
The first time I held her in my arms was magical. That little ball of golden fluff that I got to call my own puppy was like a ray of sunshine, and I could not wait to start our life together. We named her Scout, and she was the most precious and perfect dog in the world. From her soft, luminescent golden fur to her playful, loving personality, Scout was a perfect fit for our family and was deeply loved. However, about a year and a half later, on a night just like any other, Scout curled up and fell asleep on my bed with me.
Some people may say a dog is just a dog, but for me they are extremely desirable. Dogs are a person’s best friend. They make me cry, laugh, and I wish never adopted one because they do smell. Although, dogs smell, it should not be a justification to not obtain one. I mean what does not smell? I never realized how taking care of a dog could change my life; until I saw how they sleep throughout the day, they are always there to comfort me, and how they provide a responsible way of living.
Driving up to the house, I saw all the little critters running around and having a ball of a time. I got into the pen with the pups, and finally decided on the shy runt, who spent the majority of his time hiding under a board. I loved his personality and instantly knew he was the dog for me. I named him Charlie, and from that point on our master/dog relationship began. At the time I lived in a small two bedroom house with a fenced yard near Wanamaker Road.
When I started hanging out with Anthony I met Pancake first (her nickname is Patty or Pattycake). I was really scared of her when I first saw her because she was a big dog and all the pets we have at home are small so I wasn’t used to her size. She didn’t bark at me she just wanted to jump on me and always smell me. After awhile I would pet her more and more and then I wouldn’t mind her being all up on me. When you first look at her she looks kind of silly because her bottom teeth just stick out. I don’t know what kind of dog she is but I love the way her fur looks. Junior didn’t come along till later, Anthony’s mom bought junior from a friend and he is a smoky grey Pitbull. They got junior before they moved houses so he was still a baby. Now he is 5 months. A week ago he got out of the gate and he was lost for about two days but then we found him thankfully. Junior likes napping with Anthony’s mom, he loves eating fruit loops and he loves Pattycake. I love his fur color and how he is so tiny right now. I know he is going to get a little bigger and right now he is going through a teething stage which is cute but it has the yard tore up. Both of these dog are wonderful and I love that they are so sweet and playful. Even though they are not my dogs I still cherish
