Founded by the people, a community is made of the people. By minimizing all the drugs, alcohol, and corruptness of family life, we can prosper in a direction that will further our communities wealth, health, services, and outlook on people. It’s not much of what I can do for our community but what us as a people can do for the community. In addition, an effort by the community leaders should try to group together in great council and promote community by implementing activities and event centers free to the public and or build upon parks while beautifying the city and the downtown area as a whole. The town of Alpena should enhance the town’s industry by giving tours and and educating the commoners and tourists of why alpena is so special to the rest of the world. …show more content…

In the winter the park shall be converted to a public free to use hockey/ice skating rink where people can come to enjoy the afternoon with others while finding fun and laughter between the camaraderie of friends and family. One area that would interest other outdoors men would be the lakes that Alpena has to offer. Business ventures with the backing of the community should try doing more charter fishing and or tours for tourists to enjoy each and every summer. The next thing our community as a whole can do, is omit all the nasty drugs that reach the majority of our communities teens and lower income people who are trying to find comfort from their stresses of everyday life. We should increase the pro activeness in prohibiting the drugs from being grown in basements and neighboring backyards. Charity is also a great service that reflects a community member’s true heart. By giving you give the opportunity of lifting someone out of poverty and therefore boosting the needy’s confidence in this free market society. We should also increase the number of hotel rooms that our town has to
