My Vacation To Disney World The sound of music, filling the air with happiness, resonates throughout the area. The scent of delicious buttery popcorn and glazed turkey legs that go on for miles and miles. The feeling of excitement coming into the place is felt in the atmosphere. It is the image of a once in a lifetime moment. When people come in, their imaginations become reality. The name describes itself perfectly. Walt Disney World is the place of dreams and imagination. People come from all around the world to see the rides, characters, food and the entertainment of Walt Disney World. I remember when I went to Disney World this past March. It was the third time I have gone to Disney World. To see the amazement and the expectation of the …show more content…
When I met Mickey Mouse for the first time at fifteen years old, I could not stop smiling because he is my favorite cartoon character of all time. I hugged him tight and took a picture with him. The food is amazing and delicious, but also reminded me of the old days. The ideas put into making the food is important. There are many types of food and each one brings out the kid in me. The taste of glazed turkey legs with a sweet glaze made my taste buds go crazy. The different restaurants have some of the best food and favorite snacks. The ice cream is soft and tastes like real homemade ice cream that is creamy and sweet. The music is loud and fun and made me feel happy. Hearing the sound of cars zooming on Test Track and the screams of people on Space Mountain in the dark enjoying the ride. I went to the Tower of Terror for the first time this past March and I was scared out of my mind. It was a great ride, but it would go from the very bottom floor to the top floor and it was fast. The sound effects of electricity flowing in the air and darkness everywhere made me feel like I was in a real scary movie. The feeling of vibration and falling in the air on the Tower of Terror made me feel suspenseful. The feeling and taste are amazing. Sight
Disney Parks are held to a high standard when it comes to conserving their values of visitor happiness, imagination, and creativity. In 2007, Disney released a commercial that focuses on showing how a trip to Disney encourages children to dig deeper into their imagination. The children in the commercial envision their dreams and then make it a reality with the support of Disney. By transforming traditional adolescence experiences into out of this world adventures related to Disney films, Disney successfully emphasizes how strikingly different reality is while visiting the Parks through their Year of a Million Dreams Commercial.
It was the summer of 2012 and my family was taking another trip to Six Flags Great America. Earlier that summer we went just for me to be disappointed. At the time I wasn’t 54 inches yet and couldn’t ride any of the rides that I wanted to because they were the most popular at the amusement park. But, I hit a growth spurt between trips and we planned to ride all of the big rollercoasters. The one that I was most terrified of at the time was Raging Bull, one of the tallest, fastest, and longest steel coasters in the US. As we started to wait in line for the ride I was shaking with both anticipation and fear and began to rethink my idea to ride the rollercoaster. I decided to stay in line and see what many people thought was a great coaster.
What comes to mind when you hear the word adventure!!? Well there is a place in Florida that is guaranteed to bring out your inner kid every time you visit. This place is known as universal Orlando Florida. This is a place where you can go on vacation and have fun like never before as you did when you were a kid. On my visit to Orlando I stated at a four-star resort located inside the theme park known as Cabana Bay Beach Resort, also went to universal studios and islands of adventure were I felt like I was a kid again.
Everything in the parks is done for family, joy, and, of course, magic (Elias 1). Milt Thurman is a Disney fan that has said that Disney “is a nice, safe place to be” and that “it’s not today; it’s not tomorrow, its forever. It’s just a great place (Stein 6).” Whenever somebody walks into the parks, there is always a feeling that is great. The feeling of love, compassion, hope, and belief in the future are the feelings that people get when walking into the parks each time. This feeling comes from the cast members and the park as a whole. As people walk into the parks, the first thing seen is the bright colors, smiling faces of everyone, and also the characters. The whole idea of having fun, being excited, having hope and falling in love is what everyone wants (Stein 3). People instantly fell in love with Disneyland because it took them into a world of fantasy for a chance to relax and become part of the stories associated with their childhood memories of watching the Disney movies (Stein 1). At the same time, the art of family-friendly storytelling remains the core (Stein 2). When Walt was creating and designing Disney, he had many goals he wanted to meet. All he wanted was the greatest creative effort, not the most efficient operation. He also believed that giving people the right motivation was the best and only way to accomplish his dream. Disney had an obsession with the park, and always looked at it
Is Walt Disney World really what it seems? Cinderella’s castle that glistens in the background, Main Street U.S.A that rolls out the red carpet for the visitors that wander in every day, and Mickey Mouse, who is front and center for all of Disney. Millions of people walk through the main doors every year expecting to see Snow White, Tinkerbell, Donald Duck, and Goofy. They want to ride the thrilling rides, visit Tomorrowland and Frontierland, and see all of their childhood characters come to life. These people are so focused on the main concept and the big picture that they are blind to the little things that actually mean so much to Walt Disney World and paint a whole new big picture, a puzzle of sorts, for people to figure out. Yes, it may be “The Happiest Place on Earth”, but what is hidden behind the intricate doors? What is there but goes unnoticed? What is underground even?
Disney world is a place designed for uncountable amounts of excitement and making memories. I had an unforgettable experience, because of the beauty of magic Kingdom, the Heart arousing of Bush gardens, and the almost unreal sites of universal. I will never forget the time I had on senior trip, and I hope visit again
When Walt Disney first came up with the idea to create an amusement park it had seemed impossible. To make a place where children and their parents could both have fun and enjoy each others company. So many complications stood in their way with finding a space big enough to build the park and an awful opening day. People never thought it would last. But Walt knew that he had created something great that people now go their to make memories with their families. It 's not nicknamed “ The Happiest Place on Earth” for nothing.
So I was looking forward to this ride just to see my grandma like that. The ride itself was more of a sit and see ride. We sat on a boat, and it would move slowly so we could see all of the little figurines from the different cultures move and dance. As the ride went on, the song “It’s a Small World After All” would play, and I would look at my grandma and she would have this happy face and she would be clapping along to the music. I myself enjoyed the ride because it was meant to be a happy ride, and let me tell you, it was certainly was happy. Those rides were really fun to go on, but they didn’t give that intense feeling that I was looking for. Enter Splash mountain, my personal favorite ride from the Magic Kingdom. This reason this was my favorite ride is that when we went on it, we all got soaked. It was kind of funny listening to my family react to getting wet, especially my grandma because she hates getting wet. Plus when we went down the long slide at the end, my heart felt like it went out of my chest. It was an exhilarating ride, and I had a good time on
When I was younger, my parents would take us to Disney World almost every year. There was always excitement and I always felt like butterflies were flying around in my stomach from the joy. There was so much anticipation that built up when we would stand in an enormous group of people, at 7:00 in the morning, waiting for them to open up the gates. All the little kids, including me, would scream their heads off like wild banshees and race like cheetahs to their favorite rides. One of my favorite rides was the Tower of Terror. It dropped me as fast as lightning and made my stomach roll with fear!
Disney World is one of the happiest places on earth; middle school, not so much. Every kid goes through those horrendous awkward years, and over time comes out of it thanking “God that it’s over”. Whether it be braces, baby fat, or a color-blind sense of style, the pre-adolescent stage is definitely the worst. Every time I look back on those dreadful years I cringe, but I know they’ve shaped who I am today.
It has been every child’s dream to visit the happiest place on earth since the word ‘Disneyland’ had been uttered. Disneyland is a place where the stories created by Walt Disney Studios come to life and allow the visitor to be a part of these wonderful tales. The famous theme park has created millions of joyous memories for every family that has entered through its gates. But the main question is,why was one of America’s most famous travel destinations created? All though the Walt Disney Company makes a large profit off of Disneyland each year, it is obvious the theme park was created for the entertainment of the American family because of the resources and the amount of detail that was put into the project.
The day started out great, it was my first day at Disney World and my group had big plans for that day. Our first stop was in Hollywood Studios. This park was the coolest park in my opinion, it had the Rockin’ Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, and Toy Story. The Tower of Terror was a stomach dropping rollercoaster. It felt like butterflies in your stomach twittering around. For the two minutes I was on the rollercoaster it made me feel like I was in a spaceship blasting off every time we went up in the air. Next after the rollercoaster my whole group got really hungry, so we went to this famous cafe. Kelsie and I shared some chicken nuggets and then we had to get drinks, so she grabbed the drinks and I picked the table. I must have a really bad sense of tables because some how out of all the tables I sat at there were birds sitting up at the ledge, well at the time I didn’t know the birds were there. I sat my tray down and next thing I know I hear a plop right next to my tray. A bird pooped on the table! It was hilarious. Kesie walked out and I told her what happened.
Children and adults crave for the magical experiences Disney has to offer. Always something new, continuous theming, and attention to detail are all essential components that make Disney. Everyone knows the reason people keep coming back to Disney is due to all the new attractions they have yearly. Whether it is a different concert, ride, or show Disney is always trying to bring new attractions to their parks. Looking at the rides at Disney parks, they are like most theme parks, besides the fact that each ride at Disney has a theme linked to a Disney show or character. Other theme parks ' rides have different names; however, Disney does not just put a picture on the ride, they link the ride to a specific theme. The theme continues from the entrance of the ride to when the individual exits the ride. Detail, is also, a major component within Disney. Walking into a Disney theme park, you would recognize how much time and effort they put into the detail. "Even the street signs on Disney properties pay attention to detail. They are rabbit ears with arrows on them." Creativity in detail is a major part of the innovation success at
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were. There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave. I was...
Throughout someone’s life they will go to many places with their family, friends, another relatives. I have been on a few vacations that have made a lasting impact on my life. But one of the most memorable vacations I have experienced was with my cousins. I went to goa beach. Most of you probably don’t know about that beach but it is a very famous one in south India. I enjoyed myself to the fullest. The beach environment was enlightening. I would not have wanted to take this trip with anyone other than my cousins. We had a great time on the ocean sands and swimming in the ocean everyday made this vacation unforgettable.
