Personal Narrative: My Trip To Disney World

My husband and I did a lot of the steps backwards when it came to the traditional customs. We dated, had children and then we were married. So, we ended up having our Honeymoon three years after we were married. Most newlyweds head to a tropical paradise to enjoy each other and their new marriage. Well, my husband and I have been married for three years, together for almost 8 years and we have three kids. So, we went to Disney World to celebrate! While we headed back to Disney Springs, my husband surprised me by buying us Annual Passholders so we can go back to Disney as many times as we want and are able to and we won't have to pay for tickets. We headed to a place called The Boathouse for supper. Our table had a nice white linen tablecloth on it and a candle holder, illuminated the darkened room with the flame inside of it. We sat close to the stage where two men quietly strummed their guitars. It was romantic and our dinner was delicious. We had to sit with the children for them to be able to ride the rides because they're all under the age of 14. We were so excited to be able to ride every single ride together. We laughed and held hands and it was really nice to be carefree and playful with each other instead of serious and grown up. My husband talked me into riding the tea cup ride from Alice and Wonderland and I swore I was going to get sick from all the spinning, but he laughed and recorded a video of me throughout the whole ride. He said it's one of his favorite moments from our Honeymoon because I was so funny about it. I say, he wouldn't feel that way if I really had gotten sick. Later that night, we watched the Happily Ever After fireworks show Magic Kingdom has on the castle. We hadn't seen this show yet and we were blown away by how perfect it was. We both enjoyed it and I always get emotional during the fireworks. It isn't anything I can explain. I am just one of those people that cry when I'm happy more than when I'm sad. Certain commercials on television can turn me into a bowl of mush so, the fireworks at Disney are no exception. It was another beautiful and romantic moment I spent with my husband, my real life Prince Charming who then presented me with a brand new rose gold ring he bought me as a gift.
