Primarily, one has to mention that it is hard to give an exact answer to the nature of the first impression: whether it is deceptive, or maybe vice versa - the most correct. Besides, it all depends on the person, on the nature and degree of the development of intuition. Perhaps I will take myself to the last, and I would say that the first impression is often correct and is the basis for the future emotions and experiences. Even though one needs more time to get used to the idea that he enters a new phase of his life, the first impression is the most exciting. As for me, I still remember my first day at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and the events that took place. However, speaking of the first day in the college, when everything is new and unpredictable, one may live through the great number of new experiences and situations as well as well the big palette of various feelings and emotions. The same occurred to me as I had the chance to meet new university, people - both students and a teaching staff - as well as go through workshops and intellectual contests. What I remembered most of all was the intellectual contest for the students of the same speciality and the workshop, lead by the head of the university, which was rather unforgettable. At first, all the freshmen were gathered in the big hall of the university, where we listened to the presentation about our university. Besides, I came to know a lot of information about the history of the foundation of the university, its founding fathers and also the path of its development. One cannot but mention that I also adored the beautiful architecture and design in the building - big chandelier, red carpets and massive French windows.
