We were the first one out of two choirs to sing. The last choir was just finishing their last song. If I remember right it was a mixture of four 80’s songs which was different from the songs that we normally sing. I really like the song because it was different. It just brought a smile to my face and others. One of my other classmate and I were trying to get everyone in our choir to stand and applaud after they were done. I never thought something could be that hard. I wanted to scream at some people but I couldn’t other wise I would get In trouble. I felt kinda bad for the people around watching the choir finish, because I was the only one that I could hear other than my other classmate trying to get people to stand and clap. How are you

The choir immediately captured my attention and seemed to do the same for everyone else in the audience. I was very impressed by the fact that the choir was made up entirely of college students. It was also stated that some of them sing in the choir just for fun as they are not music majors. There seemed to be an appeal in the fact that the singers were mostly very young. The piece as a whole was also very enjoyable.
What changed my life the most was probably band. I've been in band for about 3 or 4 years now,and I really enjoy it. Band has helped me out in a lot of ways and will continue helping me until I no longer need help. In band, originally I wanted to be a percussionists like my older brother but they told me I was quite good on trumpet, so naturally I chose trumpet. I still play trumpet along with horn,baritone,etc..
On November 15th I attended The Addams Family musical at the Kirkland Fine Arts Center in Decatur. When I was walking in I was sure that this musical would be just like all of the others I have seen, full of catchy show tunes and over exaggerated stage makeup. Overall, I was.very excited to see a college preform a show that my high school shall preform later in the year. We were even directed to a room for a pre-show meeting with the director! Originally the musical was produced on Broadway by Stuart Oken, Roy Furman, Michael Leavitt and others. With all of the different musical numbers, three songs stood out to me the most.
My fingers ran in a blur over the black and white keys, hitting the right notes at the exact moment—it was mindless work. The chords struck true until the end of the piece; once I finished, it was time for me to repeat.
Much of my boyhood was devoted to getting into rock fights, crossing railway trestles, and the hunt for rats in drainage tunnels.
On Wednesday, May 23rd, I attended the College Choir concert in the Reamer Campus Center. The choir performed a variety of songs, ranging from pieces in Latin to traditional American folksongs. Two of the pieces featured solos, and one even featured percussion instruments. Mrs. Elinore Farnum provided piano accompaniment for each of the songs, and performed beautifully. I was extremely impressed by the talented choir members and their ability to sing such a varied range of songs.
I recently watched the 8th grade festival choir at Mary Ellen Henderson middle school. I have watched these 8th graders perform in concerts for years since 6th grade and I am currently still shocked by their performance this year. For the past years the kids in choir have struggled to sing the songs the way they imagined it sounded. I am extremely proud of the new 8th graders, I believe they have finally found the way to put on a good show, together, not individually.
At first I was very hesitant to join high school show choir and be in it. I honestly did not think I was talented enough. I also thought that the high schoolers wouldn’t like me. It was really stressful because I wanted to do it but

As the dark stadium filled with fire, with the sounds of guns and bombs exploding everywhere, the crazed fans yelled at the top of their lungs. The enormous stage was rumbling with the sound of a single guitar as the band slowly started their next encore performance. Soon after I realized that I was actually at the Sanitarium concert listening to Metallica play "One", I thought to my self, "Is this real, am I actually here right now?" I had a weird feeling the entire time because I had worked all summer to simply listen to music with a bunch of strangers.
When it came to the chorus, Dave stopped singing and everyone in the room, sung the chorus back. I felt the unity with everyone in that room, although I hardly knew any of them. The song ended with a sigh. The night is over. Dave thanked us and smiled.
