The first few years that I went to school were pretty tough, because I was just starting to understand what to do. I wasn't one of those smart kids i needed a little help but i pushed through it and I graduated. My teacher for kindergarten her name was Mrs. Romen-ello. Then second grade came and I was expecting all went down that year. I struggled trying to learn I couldn't focus like the other kids. I had a good year in first grade. I became the best artist in the class. I started getting better at English. My first word was “bathroom.” I made two friends Michelle Sherman and Karen Calle. After that I started feeling better and actually liking this school. Everything felt better and worked out great!
I would switch back and forth between loving school and despising it. Often times I would be bored by the school work that was too easily completed. For kindergarten through third grade I was a lot different than I am now. For Kindergarten and First Grade I was at a school called Hill Top Elementary School which is in Illinois where I used to live. For the rest of elementary I was going to Spring Hill elementary. My family was noticing that I was growing up, but happy that I was excited to start school.

I can divide life into two parts: The part before I went to the temple and the part afterwards. I suppose everyone could do that. On September 19, 1998, I went to the temple for my own endowments. I read my journal entry from that time and it did not do justice to what I actually experienced at the temple. I went through so many emotions and had so many questions answered that I had kept to myself.
For the first several years of my life, I was just like any other child; I achieved all the typical developmental milestones, cultivated new interests, made friends, and began to familiarize myself with the world around me. By the time I started elementary school, I was already enrolled in theater classes, ballet lessons, and a youth soccer league. It was also during these tender years that I began to develop an interest in learning, beyond that of most other children my age.
A little over four years ago my younger sister became very ill almost overnight. She has always been a very active athletic playing every sport imaginable. What seemed to surely be a virus soon proved to be much bigger. The doctors were perplexed and seemed to be almost guessing. Everything from a brain lesion to the C word cancer was given as options. Doctors would receive a referral and want to see her as she was a barely watching question mark. 53 doctors to date have evaluated my sister and that number might be a little low.
When you look back on your life, what do you remember most? Personal achievements fade from memory as you age; setbacks and failures aren’t there; arguments argue their existence away; simple daily tasks blend together and take care of themselves. Only one thing remains – moments of fulfilment. Some things make you feel pure joy, but you wouldn’t want to do them again. Fulfillment is different. It’s when you’re so unbelievably happy you could do that same thing over and over again for the rest of your life.
Way back when I was in second grade my dad was diagnosed with a nearly incurable type of cancer. At the time I wasn't aware of how bad it was, I just knew that if it wasn't cured he would die. His fight lasted over a year but when I started third grade he lost the battle. When I was younger the thought that I might lose my dad had never crossed my mind. I can honestly say that I took what I had for granted, thinking I’d have him for many years to come. Due to this experience I believe that people should appreciate what they have while they still have it.
That was the first school I went here in the United States. The first day of school I wasn’t only nervous I was so confused. Everything was so different the climate, the people, the schedule, everything. The first day was terrible the only thing that made me a little exited was that for the first time I was going to have a locker, because the previous schools I went to din’t have lockers. The first day I looked at the schedule every minute and before entering the class room I would see the number of the classroom like a hundred times to sure I wasn’t going to go into the wrong room. I remember that when it was lunch time I went to the cafeteria and made the line to take the food, I took it and I went straight to the table and when I finished eating I went to the bathroom because I was alone and dint have nothing to do or a phone or something to distract myself. When I got out of the bathroom I saw people going in class rooms so I tough OMG I am late for my next class, because in my old school everybody had lunch at the same time so hurry up and when I enter to the class room the teacher just looked at me and I dint know what to do so I give him my schedule and he told me that I dint have that class until the other periods that I was still in lunch. This high school was also a really big public school, it had four floors. The next day when I was walking to the cafeteria I saw a girl that talked

In six grade, I had to interact with other kids. I slowly learned that I could talk to them, by the middle of the year. The learning in that class in the middle of the school year wasn’t the greatest. I learned a lot and grew a lot during that year, from being scared in the beginning of having friends in the end of the year. I had a great teacher named Mrs. Sandoval who really gave me the help I needed.
The night before my first day of school in fourth grade was literally my first night before school. I had been homeschooled my entire life and was excited to be able to finally see what school was like. My teacher was Mrs. Holmes, she was one of the nicest teachers I have ever had. This was also the year that I started playing sports. I took Softball, Basketball, and Dance. My best friends came to be Brinlee, Baylee, Oaklee, Megan, Myka, and Lindsey. These were my best friends all through elementary.
